Latest Partnership: KS Hospital Association Teams Up with Micro-Internship Program

The Kansas Micro-Internship Program, in partnership with the Kansas Hospital Association, is connecting advanced students with businesses for short-term projects. The program, led by Tim Peterson of the Kansas Board of Regents, allows companies to place interns on various grants to pay the students, at no cost to the company. Jaron Caffrey, KHA’s director of workforce and healthcare policy, noted that their experience with the program exceeded expectations and they are looking to attract more micro-interns for future projects. Employers interested in participating can visit www.kansasmicrointerns.com, while students can apply at info.parkerdewey.com/kansasmicrointerns. The partnership aims to support both students in gaining practical experience and businesses in completing short-term projects. For more information, watch the interview on Eye on NE Kansas.
