A deadly shooting on Friday night has resulted in the closure of part of Interstate 29 in Platte County, Kansas City. The incident occurred on the off ramp of I-29 and NW 72nd Street, where a man was found shot and unresponsive inside a vehicle that had run off the roadway. The victim was taken to the hospital but was later pronounced dead. Kansas City police are investigating the shooting and believe it took place while the victim was traveling south on I-29. The victim has not been identified, and there is no suspect information available at this time. Detectives are still on the scene trying to determine the cause of the shooting.
